The City Secretary is usually the first contact that the public has with City Hall or its officials.  The Secretary ensures accurate posting, recording, and documentation of official city actions; to ensure legal conduct of city elections; and to provide a full range of administrative assistance to the City Council, Building Committee, Planning and Zoning Committee, Golf Course Oversight Committee, Code Enforcement, and general public.
